You kill it, we grill it. Open all night on Old Route 13.
In 1958, Del Pruitt opened a diner on a lonely bend of Old Route 13 with a promise painted on the sign: YOU KILL IT, WE GRILL IT. Drivers brought in whatever they hit, and Del fried it up. Then, on the night of the Possum Moon in 1977, Del hit a possum with his own tow truck. And the possum got up. So did the raccoon on the counter, and the armadillo in the fryer basket. Nobody has seen Del since. The critters run the Kafe now, and the sign says something different.
Tonight it's 2:13 a.m. You were going a little too fast. You felt a thump. And the only lights for ninety miles are right up ahead.
Sound on, please. The clock ticks only while the Kafe is on your screen. There is no time limit, but every hint costs you two minutes.
Welcome back, . Flo saved your seat. Your coffee is still warm. It is always still warm.
